TentLabs heater supply has been designed to supply the heaters of indirectly heated tubes.The main use is feeding line- and phono-stage tubes, to keep the hum levels low.
Despite their massive linearity, Directly Heated Tubes (DHTs) have one major disadvantage. Their filament is part of the signal flow, i.e. is included in the audio path, hence the heater supply is affecting the sound.

When using fixed bias in your amps, the currents need constant re-adjustment to compensate for mains variations and tube aging. TentLabs now introduces a new module, based on novel techniques, with major advantages over existing solutions.
Designer Jos van Eijndhoven set the concept for this DIY module. It fills a gap by combining high end sound quality with ease of use: Volume can be set in 64 steps of exactly 1.0dB by rotating the encoder. Additionally, 4 inputs can be chosen by pushing the encoder.
